I’m thrilled you’re interested in dog services with me! For services that are performed at my house, I require some initial information about your dog, and a follow up meet-and-greet at my home to make sure they’ll be a good fit in my home environment. After receiving your information, I’ll follow up with you and schedule a meet-and-greet with your dog. Being pre-approved isn't a guarantee that your dog will do well with other dogs. If during group dog play sessions I find that your dog isn't a good fit (shows excessive anxiety or aggression), your dog will be kept in a separate rotation from other dogs. To clarify the following questions: "Crate training" means your dog can settle in a crate without exhibiting destructive behavior or vocalizing, especially at night. This does not mean that your dog will not be crated the entire day; this is to help me assess how they are able to adapt to a new home setting and being crated. For recall ("coming when called"), I don't expect boarding / daycare dogs to have excellent obedience, but what I'm looking for here is to see if the dog can come back from outside without issue or if you find yourself chasing after the dog to get it back inside.
